Our British curriculum school, International School of Creative Science (ISCS) is looking for a creative, passionate and outstanding Head of Secondary who value professional development opportunities and a good work-life balance.
We are looking for exceptionally talented education leaders who through their own evidence and impact of their leadership can demonstrate and ensure that our students achieve outstanding outcomes in their academic and personal/social development.
The successful candidate is expected to provide and lead the strategic direction for the Primary School, in accordance with the aims of the school and the curricular policies determined by the Principal as mandated by BEAM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide and lead the strategic direction for the school in accordance with the aims of the school and curricular policies.
- Demonstrate leadership impact to ensure students achieve outstanding outcomes in academic and personal/social development.
- Uphold safer recruitment practices and commit to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Experience Required:
- Minimum 5 years teaching experience following the UK National Curriculum.
- At least 2 years in school administration.
- Experience of working in a high achieving school (preferred).
- Evidence of successful implementation of a range of whole school initiatives.
- Experience of leading a department of phase through accreditation and/or school inspections.
Education Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related subjects.
- Completion (or near completion) of a leadership qualification (NPQSL, NPHQ or a relevant Masters degree).
Skills Required:
- Strong leadership and strategic planning abilities.
- Deep understanding of UK National Curriculum standards.
- Commitment to faith-based and moral-led educational environments.
- Ability to foster positive pupil outcomes.
Languages: Bilingual (Arabic & English)
