Job Description / Role:

The Supervisor, Maintenance (Electrical) is responsible for supervising the maintenance, service, and repair activities of all electrical systems and equipment and ensuring that all electrical maintenance activities are carried out efficiently and in compliance with Operations Standards and laid-down work procedures.

In supporting new projects, the supervisor is involved in reviewing proposals, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities, and conducting risk assessments. Additionally, this role coordinates with the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) department to ensure that all maintenance tasks are performed with minimal risk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the service, repair, and maintenance activities of all electrical systems and equipment, including low and medium voltage equipment, switchgear, control panels, instrumentation, and control systems.
  • Review and allocate daily work orders and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance Planning for scheduling and execution of repair and preventive maintenance works.
  • Maintain communication with end-users regarding repairs, replacements, modifications, and overhauls.
  • Monitor spare part inventory, recommend stock levels, and coordinate with suppliers and contractors.
  • Support the review of new project and modification proposals and participate in pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
  • Conduct risk assessments including HAZOP, HSEIA, and HAZID studies.
  • Ensure compliance with Operations Standards, quality control measures, and standard operating procedures.
  • Provide training and guidance to technicians and team members.
