Job Description / Role:
The Supplier Quality Engineer will be responsible for designing, planning, organizing, coordinating, and supervising all inspection and repair processes. The role ensures that all engineering and manufacturing specifications are strictly adhered to, maintaining compliance throughout the lifecycle of the project.
This position involves direct coordination with suppliers regarding rejected or failed parts, managing quality standards for repaired items under warranty, and providing technical expertise to cross-functional departments regarding materials engineering and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, plan, organize, coordinate and supervise all inspections and repairs.
- Ensure engineering and manufacturing specifications are reviewed to ensure compliance.
- Coordinate with suppliers for rejected remanufactured parts and address spare parts failure.
- Supervise the quality of repaired items during the warranty period.
- Prepare weekly and monthly management reports and analyze relevant data.
- Supervise the supply of spare parts for the repair process.
- Provide technical advice on materials engineering and regulatory compliance to other departments.
- Analyze test results, conduct personnel training, and maintain comprehensive records of test results and actions taken.
- Facilitate corrective actions for supplier quality issues.
- Maintain the confidentiality and security of all company information.
Experience Required: A minimum of three years of similar experience
Education Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (preferably in mechanical, civil, logistics, or electrical engineering).
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of engineering principles, theories, and practices.
- Project management experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
- Knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) or AutoCAD.
- Valid UAE driving license (or ability to obtain one).
