With stunning resorts located across the globe and exciting expansion planned, Kerzner International currently has a fantastic opportunity for a Housekeeping Attendant to join the One&Only team at One&Only The Palm Hotel in Dubai. With the global growth of our brands, you will be an integral part of the Resort’s success and your role goes beyond developing potential relationships with our guests and colleagues. Where you will give high quality service, supply, provide turn-down for guest rooms and suites as per the hotel standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report for duty punctually and ensure proper grooming as per hotel policy.
- Attend daily briefing in selected areas conducted by Supervisor/Manager.
- Be fully trained on resort standards and procedures required to carry out daily tasks.
- Use and maintain all chemicals, supplies and equipment as per hotel standards.
- Clean, replenish and prepare all guest rooms as per hotel standards.
- Move and position cleaning trolley in the corridor ensuring a safe and hazard free corridor as per hotel policy.
- Follow the resorts key control policy.
- Operate machinery and equipment accordingly.
- Report malfunctioning tools, incidents, and guest room issues correctly to supervisor and to Engineering department.
- Report lost and found articles as per hotel policy.
- Report in-room safe issues as per hotel standards and policies.
- Report unusual guest behavior or activities as per hotel standards.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of the layout of the guest rooms and corridors, and all housekeeping storage spaces.
- Follow hotel’s health and safety policies and procedures.
- Attend trainings necessary for the tasks and as per hotel requirements.
- Carry out any other job-related duties when requested by the hotel.
Experience Required: Must have at least 1-2 years’ experience in an upscale luxury hospitality industry or five-star hotels. Middle East/GCC experience is an advantage.
