Job Description / Role:
Parsons is seeking a Structural Inspector to join a construction project in Dubai. The role focuses on delivering innovative, safe, and sustainable infrastructure by inspecting site conditions and ensuring full compliance with design requirements and contract specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect site conditions to ensure suitability for the designed permanent works.
- Provide practical advice on constructional matters.
- Inspect construction and temporary works for compliance with approved methods.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections and work executed.
- Direct subordinate inspectors and monitor their performance.
- Assist in measuring work performed and preparing as-built drawings.
- Observe site safety procedures and report potential hazards.
- Conduct inspections of completed works, prepare snag lists, and manage handover processes.
Experience Required:
- Minimum 4 years of construction supervision experience for Bachelor’s degree holders.
- Minimum 7 years of construction supervision experience for Diploma holders.
- Experience with building projects (small structures).
- Previous work experience in Dubai or GCC within an engineering consulting firm is preferred.
Education Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Skills Required:
- Knowledge and experience using computer software.
- Proficiency in oral and written communication.
- Ability to communicate logically and clearly with management and staff.
- Commitment to safe work practices.
