Job Description / Role:
KBR is seeking a Senior HSE Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This role is responsible for ensuring that all projects comply with international Health, Safety, and Environmental standards and internal KBR policies.
The successful candidate will provide technical expertise and support to the project team, ensuring risks are identified and mitigated effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HSE plans and procedures for site operations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance.
- Lead hazard identification and risk assessment exercises (HAZID/HAZOP).
- Provide expert advice to management on safety regulatory requirements.
- Investigate incidents and provide root cause analysis reports.
Skills Required:
- In-depth knowledge of HSE international standards and local UAE regulations.
- Strong problem-solving and risk management skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.
