Job Description / Role:

Plan and supervise the maintenance activities of a wide range of instrument and control systems in the plant and coordinate these activities with operations and other maintenance teams to ensure reliable functioning of the instrument and control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the operations and maintenance teams for equipment testing, troubleshooting, routine equipment surveillance and start-up activities.
  • Provide technical support in the field for the execution of critical maintenance activities to ensure minimum down time.
  • Evaluate, allocate and arrange manpower requirements for daily preventive, breakdown, and shutdown maintenance plans.
  • Monitor and control required material, spares, consumables, and tools.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures and non-scheduled shutdowns.
  • Participate in defining technical requirements, technical bid evaluation, and inspection of materials.
  • Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
  • Train and develop assigned staff on relevant skills.
  • Provide input for Department/Section budgets and cost control.
  • Implement department policies, processes, and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all HSE policies, procedures, and international standards.

Experience Required: 6 years of experience in Instrument and Control engineering and maintenance within a large industrial organization, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.

Education Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Instrumentation and Control or Electronics discipline or equivalent Professional Qualification.
