Job Description / Role:
Our client is currently hiring for the position of Power BI Developer to join their professional team in Dubai. This role focuses on the end-to-end development of data visualization solutions, requiring expertise in Power BI ecosystems and cloud data platform integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
- Build efficient data models, create relationships, and implement DAX measures and calculated columns.
- Develop and maintain datasets, dataflows, semantic models, and schedule refreshes.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into meaningful visual analytics.
- Ensure data accuracy, reliability, and performance within reports and dashboards.
- Implement Power BI governance standards, workspace management, RLS, and content publishing best practices.
- Troubleshoot report issues, optimize queries, and performance tuning of visuals and data models.
Experience Required:
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience.
Skills Required:
- Experience in creating Paginated reports using Power BI Report builder or SSRS.
- Proficiency in extracting, transforming, and loading data from multiple sources using T-SQL, views, stored procedures, and performance tuning techniques.
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, Synapse, Fabric, or equivalent cloud technologies.
