Job Description / Role:
The role involves working on projects associated with stormwater and drainage, flood alleviation, wastewater networks, wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, and water distribution networks. This includes undertaking investigations, planning, design, tendering, contract administration, and construction monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertaking investigations, planning, design, tendering, contract administration, and construction monitoring for water infrastructure projects.
- Reviewing, verifying, monitoring and recommending non-objection for design management plans, design calculations, and hydraulic analysis.
- Evaluating technical and financial proposals.
- Co-ordinating activities and complex tasks while taking professional responsibility in all matters.
- Collaborating with all levels of management on a daily and ongoing basis.
Experience Required:
- Minimum of 15 years of work experience.
- Experience with water infrastructure, sewers, water pipelines, RO plants, and water reservoirs.
- Experience in reviewing, verifying, monitoring and recommending non-objection for design management plans, design calculations, hydraulic analysis, design calculations and more.
- Experience in evaluating technical and financial proposals.
Education Qualifications:
- Membership of an accredited Project Management institution an advantage.
- Professional Chartership Engineer status from an internationally recognized institution.
