Job Description / Role:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior HSE Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to provide senior professional oversight, technical guidance, training and support to project and other Global Business Unit safety managers.
The successful candidate will cover site bounded staff and cover the following through multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the safety performance of contractors on site.
- Monitor compliance with occupational health standards and use of personal protection equipment.
- Participate in internal safety reviews and site inspections.
- Take part in incident investigation.
- Check observance of the permit to work systems.
- Carry out or procure specialist HSE training.
- Assist HS specialist to implement health & safety standard on site.
- Site Safety report.
Experience Required:
- Minimum 15 years industrial experience working on large multi-use venues or leisure/entertainment construction projects.
Education Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Health/Environmental from a recognized University or equivalent/experience.
Skills Required:
- Must demonstrate knowledge of SH&E regulations, requirements for construction projects and awareness of all hazards likely to existing construction sites.
- Must demonstrate appropriate ongoing Continued Professional Development.
- Must possess leadership skills to manage and motivate a team of SH&E officers.
- Membership of known Safety Association i.e. NEBOSH.
- Hold valid certificate in First Aid/Hazard Assessment (Entry to confined Spaces / Scaffolding).
- Proactive acumen and an ability to manage multiple working areas on site are essential.
