Job Description / Role:

The Accessories Manager will establish and scale the Accessories and Service Products business for BYD, Denza across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The role owns the end-to-end P&L for the accessories category — building the operating model from the ground up, developing a competitive portfolio of genuine and locally sourced accessories, and creating differentiated service product programs that drive recurring revenue, customer retention, and aftersales margin.

The role sits at the intersection of Aftersales, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Brand, and is a critical commercial enabler for the new energy vehicle launch program in KSA and a long-term contributor to aftersales profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the multi-year Accessories and Service Products strategy for BYD, Denza in KSA, aligned with brand positioning and aftersales business ambition.
  • Establish the accessories operating model from scratch — governance, processes, pricing architecture, channel strategy, and performance management framework.
  • Build the Annual Operating Plan for accessories, including sales volumes, revenue, gross margin, inventory, and investment plans.
  • Define the long-term growth roadmap covering portfolio expansion, vendor base development, and digital sales channels.
  • Develop a competitive portfolio of genuine OEM accessories, locally developed accessories, and bundled value packages tailored to Saudi customer preferences.
  • Design and launch service product programs including extended warranty, service contracts, paint protection, ceramic coating, tinting, and EV-specific care packages.
  • Lead accessory programs supporting new vehicle launches, special editions, and brand-defining model introductions across the three brands.
  • Curate accessory selections, fitments, and styling packages that reflect Saudi and broader Gulf customer taste — covering exterior styling, interior trims, comfort upgrades, and personalization preferences specific to the region.
  • Manage the full product lifecycle — phase-in, phase-out, refresh cycles, and competitive repositioning.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard local and regional accessory suppliers, fabricators, and service partners to build a resilient and cost-competitive vendor network.
  • Build and manage relationships with both local KSA / GCC vendors and international accessory manufacturers across Asia, Europe, and the wider global market.
  • Lead commercial negotiations covering pricing, supply terms, quality standards, MOQ, and exclusivity arrangements.
  • Manage vendor performance through structured KPIs covering quality, delivery, cost, and innovation.
  • Develop a localization roadmap to balance OEM-genuine, regional, and KSA-developed accessory sourcing.
  • Deliver Accessories Sales, Revenue, Attachment Rate, and Gross Margin targets for the three brands.
  • Define pricing strategies, dealer margins, and customer-facing offers that protect profitability while staying competitive.
  • Monitor business performance through monthly P&L reviews, variance analysis, and corrective action planning.
  • Build investment cases for new accessory programs, service product launches, and infrastructure requirements.
  • Conduct ongoing market analysis, customer research, and competitor benchmarking across KSA and key GCC markets.
  • Translate customer insights into product development priorities and commercial campaigns.
  • Track Chinese OEM accessory trends, EV-specific innovations, and emerging service product opportunities globally.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Brand, Product Planning, Supply Chain, and Network Development teams to embed accessories and service products into the customer journey.
  • Engage directly with BYD, Denza, and principal teams to align local plans with global brand standards and product strategy.
  • Lead cross-functional accessory project teams from concept through development, sourcing, launch, and post-launch performance review.
  • Oversee inventory planning, stock health, slow-moving stock management, and warehouse coordination for the accessories category.
  • Establish the digital and reporting infrastructure for accessory sales tracking, attachment rate measurement, and dealer enablement.

Experience Required: 9–15 years of progressive experience in Automotive Accessories, Service Product Development, or Aftersales Commercial Management within an OEM, national distributor, or large dealership group. GCC and KSA market experience strongly preferred. Exposure to Chinese OEM brands or new energy vehicle aftersales is a strong advantage.

Education Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Automotive Management, or a related discipline. MBA or postgraduate qualification in Business or Commercial Management is an added advantage.

Skills Required:

  • Strong commercial mindset with end-to-end P&L ownership experience
  • Deep understanding of Saudi and Gulf customer taste in vehicle accessories, styling, and personalization
  • Strategic thinking with the discipline to execute and build functions from the ground up
  • Sharp portfolio management — pricing, positioning, attachment rate, lifecycle management
  • Confident vendor sourcing, negotiation, and supplier lifecycle management across both local KSA / GCC suppliers and international accessory manufacturers
  • Strong business planning, forecasting, and inventory management capability
  • Executive-grade stakeholder management across OEM principals, internal functions, and external partners
  • Project management discipline across multi-functional, multi-brand programs
