A leading healthcare institution in Dubai is seeking a Consultant Fetal Medicine Specialist with extensive experience in providing expert care for high-risk pregnancies and fetal conditions. This role demands an accomplished professional who combines advanced clinical expertise with a compassionate, patient-centered approach to ensure the well-being of both mother and baby. The successful candidate will also contribute to advancing fetal medicine practices within a world-class medical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments of fetal development and maternal health, utilizing advanced imaging and diagnostic tools such as detailed ultrasound, amniocentesis, and chorionic villus sampling.
- Manage and oversee the care of complex pregnancies, including multiple pregnancies and pregnancies with congenital or genetic conditions.
- Develop individualized care plans for expectant mothers and their families, balancing medical intervention and emotional support.
- Provide expert counsel on fetal health, including interpreting test results and advising on treatment options or interventions as needed.
- Collaborate closely with obstetricians, neonatologists, geneticists, and other specialists to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to care.
- Perform in-utero procedures and minimally invasive fetal therapies to optimize outcomes in cases requiring intervention.
- Contribute to clinical research and the development of advanced protocols in fetal medicine.
- Educate junior doctors and medical staff, fostering excellence within the obstetrics and fetal medicine teams.
- Adhere strictly to DHA guidelines and international medical standards while delivering exceptional patient care.
Experience Required:
- A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as a Consultant Fetal Medicine Specialist in a reputable medical institution.
- Skilled in handling complex and high-risk pregnancies, as well as performing advanced fetal diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Education Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology, with subspecialty training in Fetal Medicine.
- Western education or training (e.g., USA, UK, Canada, or equivalent) is essential.
Skills Required:
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to work effectively with patients and within a multidisciplinary team.
- Eligibility for DHA licensing to practice in Dubai.
- Proven commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for advancing the field of fetal medicine.
Employment / Job Type: FULL_TIME
Monthly Salary: 80,000 AED
