The Gallery & Client Experience Executive is a vital role supporting the daily operations, sales initiatives, artist relations, and administrative functions of the gallery. As a key client-facing professional, you will embody the brand’s high-end positioning through exceptional communication, meticulous organization, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach to business development and gallery management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales revenue and cultivate long-term relationships with local and international collectors, advisors, and designers.
  • Provide professional greeting and assistance to walk-in visitors and VIP clients both in person and via written correspondence.
  • Present artworks accurately and confidently, prepare invoices and consignment agreements, and conduct timely follow-ups with prospective leads.
  • Maintain detailed, current client records within the CRM system and ensure accurate daily POS reconciliation and sales reporting.
  • Assist in the exhibition planning and execution process, including artwork intake, condition reporting, checklist preparation, and wall label production.
  • Support the physical installation and deinstallation of exhibitions, ensuring the highest standards of artwork handling, safety, and care.
  • Ensure the gallery space remains in a presentation-ready condition at all times, adhering to high visual and merchandising standards.
  • Coordinate shipping, framing, inventory updates, and logistics throughout each exhibition cycle.
  • Manage daily administrative functions, including payment tracking, deposit logging, file organization, and general office support.
  • Maintain orderly digital and physical records for artist files, consignor agreements, and vendor contracts.
  • Coordinate documentation for deposits, outstanding balances, and invoices with the accounting department.
  • Support marketing initiatives by scheduling social media content, updating website inventory, and coordinating artwork photography documentation.
  • Ensure all public outreach materials including artwork images, captions, and pricing are completely accurate prior to publication.
  • Provide professional operational and client support during gallery openings, VIP previews, art fairs, and community engagement events.
  • Coordinate communications and maintain strong working relationships with represented artists, designers, framers, art handlers, and shipping vendors.

Experience Required: 1–3 years of experience in a commercial gallery, luxury retail environment, auction house, art advisory, design showroom, or similar client-facing setting preferred. Prior experience in sales support, retail operations, or hospitality within a high-end luxury environment is a strong asset.

Education Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Art History, Fine Arts, Arts Administration, or related field preferred.

Skills Required:

  • Ability to lift up to 12 kgs for artwork handling and exhibition installation needs.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with high attention to detail.
  • Effective time management and multi-tasking abilities in a dynamic, client-focused environment.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment, discretion, and proactive initiative.
  • Familiarity with the Middle East art and design market is highly advantageous.

Languages: Fluency in English is required; Arabic language proficiency is a strong advantage.
